Description
Rectangular hollow section (RHS) 60mm x 40mm
A structual steel great for machining, forming, being the easiest to weld and much easier to cut than stainless steel. It is a strong / hard, ferrous metal containing iron which makes it magnetic. It has poor corrosion resistance which is why it needs to be galavanised or painted when used outdoors.
Weight per meter guide: 3.6Kg for 2.5mm wall, 4.25Kg for 3mm wall, 5.45Kg for 4mm, 6.56Kg for 5mm.
